SOLAR HEATED SHOWERS

Not so long ago, solar heated showers were mainly installed in bathing establishments, campsites and hotels; preferably where there was sea or swimming pools.

Recently, domestic use has become very significant. People have realised that, especially in hot weather, they prefer a quick shower in the garden or by the pool before dirtying the bathroom at home.
Another not insignificant factor is the ecological side; these showers use the heat of the sun to heat the water inside them.....would you like to not consume electricity to wash yourself? ..... It`s the best!
And if, as in our case, beautifully designed and high-tech showers are available on the market, it is sometimes possible to complete the outdoor furniture too, whether in the garden, swimming pool, or other outdoor activity.


How does a solar hot water shower work?
Very simply, inside there is a water tank, the capacity of which varies from model to model, which is simply heated by solar energy. Simply connect it with a hose to the water network......the rest is done by the sun!

The materials used are of the highest quality,
- resin with high resistance to UV radiation and weathering
- aluminium, specially treated, i.e. powder-coated, long life and protection!

Which colour to choose?
The choice is very personal, whether you have the `colour of your heart`, want to embellish or complement an existing outdoor furniture piece......surely we advise our customers to place the sun shower outdoors and in the sun. It goes without saying that a darker colour absorbs more sunlight and the water inside the shower heats up sooner.

A few simple tips on choosing, positioning and maintaining your outdoor solar shower:

- With the same outdoor temperature conditions, the performance may vary due to the many variations such as: humidity in the air, wind, clouds, precipitation and the colour of the shower, with a darker colour however you will have a higher water temperature inside the solar shower
- Choose a location as exposed to direct light as possible (ideally 360°), close to a water supply and drainage.
- Position the plugs and install the solar shower vertically using washers and screws.
- Connect to the water supply.
- When using for the first time, open the tap (cold or hot water) to let the air inside the shower escape and allow the shower tank to fill completely.
- When water starts to come out of the shower head, this means that the solar shower tank is full. You can then turn off the shower tap and wait for the water in the tank to be heated by the sun. Cold water is available immediately.
- After prolonged use, limescale and other materials are likely to settle inside the shower head. Shut off the water supply to remove the shower head for washing. The solar shower is designed to be used at an outdoor temperature above 3°C.

At the end of the season of use, shut off the water supply. During the winter season, the tank must be emptied completely in order to avoid frost damage.



TRADITIONAL SHOWERS

Why a traditional shower?

The sun does nothing here! A traditional shower uses the water system in the home. They do not have an internal tank but all have a double water inlet (cold and hot) which the mixer allows to optimise for an optimal temperature (which changes from person to person)
The reason is easy, you don`t have to wait for the sun to heat the water, here you always have water ready for a shower during the day and.......at night!
Another peculiarity of these in-and-out showers is that they can be installed either in the bathroom of your home or outdoors, a garden for example. But also hotels, campsites, bathing establishments, hospitality activities,
showers for sports facilities, etc. ....Where there is hot and cold water, you can place one of our showers!
The only limit for positioning is your needs and your imagination.
